What Makes a Good Surgeon? An Interview with John Gebhart, MD

In this interview series, Dr. Cecile Ferrando speaks with some of the best and brightest SGS has to offer in order to to answer one simple question: what makes a good surgeon? John B. Gebhart, M.D., M.S., is a fellowship trained Urogynecologist, specializing in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. He is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS). In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Gebhart is active in research and education. He is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, having authored over 120 peer reviewed publications, book chapters, etc. He previously served as Fellowship Program Director in URPS at Mayo Clinic for 14 years, and is a Past-President of SGS.
