Route: Alleppey → Kochi → Kozhikode → Kannur → Mangalore → Udupi → Gokarna → Pune Our adventure began at the serene Marari Beach, a hidden gem away from the usual tourist rush, followed by a spiritual stop at the historic Arthunkal Church, one of the oldest churches in Kerala known for its miraculous significance. We then soaked in the beauty of Chellanam Beach, a quiet coastal stretch with stunning views before heading northward. Crossing into Karnataka, we were left speechless at the magnificent Bekal Fort in Kasaragod — the largest fort in Kerala, perched dramatically over the Arabian Sea. A delicious traditional lunch in Udupi was an absolute treat — the birthplace of the iconic Udupi cuisine! On the way, we stopped to admire the towering Hanuman Statue in Kundapur, a marvel you simply can’t miss on this coastal highway. And of course, the crown jewel of the trip — the jaw-dropping Marvanthi Beach (Maravanthe), one of India’s most unique beaches with the sea on one side and the Sauparnika River on the other.
