To complete the journey, we jump onto the famous Hong Kong Tram (香港電車) — also known as the Ding Ding — for a peaceful ride through older suburban streets. From the open windows of the tram, you’ll see a blend of old and new Hong Kong: lively markets, local shops, aging residential towers, and glimpses of families who have lived here for generations. The tram ride gives you a front-row seat to the authentic rhythm of daily life, far from the luxury districts that most visitors know. This walking tour and tram adventure reveal a Hong Kong that is raw, real, and deeply human. It shows the challenges faced by many residents, but also the beauty of community life, history, and survival in one of the world’s most densely populated cities.
