Here we come to the third infamous scene in the special: the fight between Caesar and Butch. Even though Caesar is a new character, this plot element is just as important here as it was in the book. Butch actually fought another dog that we never see (or read, in this case) again, but the implications of the fight remain the same: Butch is badly injured and all the dogs in his pack, even solitary Solo, help him get better. My only complaints about the fight scene is how bad the animation really is and how Caesar just wimps off at the last minute. Then again, it's not surprising since it was made on such a low budget. I shall also have to apologise for the skip at 9:40. If there's anything to blame, it's my VCR.
