It’s a style we’ve come to expect to from the UK artist and, arguably, what he does best. Reserved for when the club is at its most transcendent, ‘Fracture’ is a joy ride through dense atmospheres, succinct percussion and effervescent white noise. A sturdy low-end pulse is at the heart Tring’s experimentations, allowing for a sense of chaotic freedom amongst the track’s other elements – apocalyptic synth’s ebb and flow, making for moments of pure cathartic release, only to be anxiously reeled back. As if it was written with the first post-lockdown rave in mind, this slice of peak time leaves one yearning for dancefloors more than ever.
