Brought into the entertainment business through Pune’s experimental theatre scene, Sarang Sathaye has worked for 5 years as chief assistant director with national-award-winning directors, Sumitra Bhave, Sunil Sukthankar, and Sachin Kundalkar. In theatre he has directed 2 full-length plays and 15 One-Act theatre productions, and won the MET Award for Best Director. Sarang Sathaye is also an accomplished actor in films like The Bright Day (2012), Shala (2011), The Dirty Picture (2011), and Samhita (2012) as well as MTV show Bring on the Night (2013), Natasamraat (2016), and Ubuntu (2017). He is the co-founder and creative director of Bharatiya Digital Party (BhaDiPa), and has written and directed over 60 videos with more than 50 million views.
