Welcome back to another video, in todays video we went around Lytham Road and surrounding arears. ✅ MASSIVE £90 MILLION POUND PACKAGE ANNOUNCED FOR BLACKPOOL This huge sum of money announced for Blackpool will make an enormous difference to our town. This funding is for housing-led regeneration and will cover a number of areas of Blackpool including Revoe/Central Drive, Foxhall and Bond Street/Waterloo Road. This announcement follows a recent petition presented to Parliament on the need for regeneration funds for Revoe/Central Drive & Bond St/Waterloo Road, and a parliamentary debate on these areas only weeks ago. It’s a huge vote of confidence in Blackpool and the work taking place to regenerate our town. The fuller details will emerge in time and the project will be led by the council. They know the huge appetite for spending part of this money on Bond St, Waterloo Rd and Central Dr and they must ensure that the plans which come forward include these areas - anything less will be letting down residents in those areas who have been forgotten time and time again. Revised plans for a derelict building ( Hartes ) in South Shore could see holiday apartments and shops built on the site branded an eyesore! Developers are seeking planning permission to demolish the former Hartes store on the corner on Bond Street and waterloo road and replace it with a block of 23 holiday apartments, with retail units on the ground florr and parking for 30 cars.
