Every night at 8pm during the lockdown, people open their windows and applaud the nurses, doctors and any other workers who keep the country running while the rest of us are shut away. After that, I sit on the street and play a few tunes for the neighbours. They have come to expect this now, so if one day I don't turn up to play, I hear calls from everywhere "Accordéon? Accordéon?".... maybe one day I can meet them all and tell them about the difference between an Accordion and a Bandoneon. The accoustics are great. Two blocks away, I see people leaning out of their windows for this daily little concert. Gradually they are also coming out on the road to dance. The tunes I play in this video are Milonga del 900, Corazon de Oro and Sus Ojos se cerraron. The first two pieces are played 'A La Parrilla'-style, the last one is an arrangement by Rodolfo Mederos.
