The Eurovision Song Contest exists for 65 years now and thats a good time to take a look back at the Eurovision History! The first ever Eurovision song contest took place in Lugano, Switzerland, at the Teatro Kursaal, on 24th of May 1956. Only 7 countries took part and there was no scoreboard, the voting was kept secret. There are no video fragments of this year since the first ever Eurovision was made for radio. The only performance which was being recorded was the winners performance of Lys Assia. 📊 Check out the full results of the year 1956 on the official Eurovision website: https://eurovision.tv/event/lugano-19... 👍 If you like this series, make sure to subscribe to my channel!
