A recording of the Introductory webinar for the Guidelines International Network Indigenous Communities Working Group, held on Wednesday 4 March 2026. The webinar features Dr Ed Connors / Tecumseh (Knowledge Keeper), Daniela Carl (CEO of Guidelines International Network), Dr Doris Grinspun (CEO of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario and Vice-Chair of the Indigenous Communities Working Group), Dr Holly Graham (Prof. of University of Saskatchewan and Chair of the Indigenous Communities Working Group). GIN have established the Indigenous Communities Working Group in collaboration with Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO) to promote health equity and culturally safe practices in health care. The group will bring together Indigenous researchers, Knowledge Keepers, Elders, guideline developers and community members to transform how health guidelines are created. This is a global initiative dedicated to advancing methodologies for guideline development that honour Indigenous ways of knowing, being and doing.
