A Night at the Cheapest Hotel in Nepal – Inside Gongabu Buspark We spent a night at one of the cheapest hotels in Nepal, located right inside Gongabu Buspark, the busiest transport hub in the country. The hotel offers shared rooms, and we ended up sleeping in a room with complete strangers—an experience that felt both uncomfortable and eye-opening. For dinner, we tried their Chicken Khana set priced at just Rs. 250, and to our surprise, it tasted really good—simple, homely, and satisfying. After dinner, I stepped outside to explore the chaotic yet lively night vibe of the Buspark area. Instead of danger or trouble, I ran into a group of local kids who showed me around and shared some laughs. Back at the hotel, the struggle to sleep was real—mostly due to the lack of hygiene and basic cleanliness. But beyond the discomfort, this experience gave us a raw look into the lives of people who rely on such cheap stays regularly.
