Prof Frank Döpper presents on Additive Innovations & Environmentally Friendly Production Technology

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Frank Döpper visited Centre for Future Materials at UniSQ's Toowoomba campus earlier this year to discuss future collaborations between the two universities. Prof Doepper is the Chair of Manufacturing and Remanufacturing at the University of Bayreuth and the Scientific Director for Manufacturing Process Technology at Frauenhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA. During his visit, he presented on research activities at the University of Bayreuth on remanufacturing of products and components, particularly within the automotive sector. His presentation also includes ecological and economic assessments to evaluate sustainability impacts, aiming to create efficient and environmentally responsible manufacturing systems.
