Without the high pressures used in these machines they simply wouldn’t work. Usually when machines are turned off they are pretty safe to work on, right? Well.. That’s unless there is trapped pressure that hasn’t been dissipated. Now we don’t want you or any of your teammates to experience what it’s like to receive high pressure injuries, so that’s why I created this 5 minute video that runs through how to dissipate trapped pressure, and also in what situations certain methods do and don’t work. It’s really straight forward and is something you can follow along with if you want to have someone talking you through it. (Although if you haven’t received training in hydraulics equipment before, we do not recommend attempting something like this without first receiving your basic training.)
