What exactly are we asking #EUelection2024 candidates to commit to? We are calling on them to commit to 10 asks for animals, spanning from reducing animal experimentations, to better protecting wildlife, to appointing an EU Commissioner for Animal Welfare. 🇪🇺🙌 Listen as our colleagues and animal champions explain each of them in this short video! ✨ ✊ Take action and ask your candidates to make the #VoteforAnimals pledge today: citizens.voteforanimals.org ------ About the campaign Coordinated by Eurogroup for Animals and joined by over 60 animal protection groups all across the EU, Vote for Animals is a platform for citizens and candidates alike providing them with guidance for the upcoming European elections. How does it work? We are asking candidates to take a pledge committing to 10 demands for animals spanning from improving the welfare of animals used for human consumption to promoting a transition to a non-animal science. By taking this pledge, candidates will show their voters that they care about #animalwelfare and they will push to make it a priority in the next political term.
