I always respect brands that do "their thing" even when I don't like the watch itself, but with this, they REALLY nailed my taste! One of the prettiest GMT's I've reviewed, backed up by incredibly good finish and quality. Even the size is correct for my wrist. They do a couple of details differently, and at first I was sure I would change those (like the lume application), but over time I realized this quirkiness is what sets them apart, and I respect that. The Cortina 1956 GMT is powered by a Soprod GMT automatic movement, which is a step away from the usual Seiko, Sellita and ETA movements, yet another detail I like very much!!
