Adding a riser block to your bandsaw is a quick way to greatly increase the cutting capacity of the saw. My Grizzly 14" bandsaw came with a riser block, but no other parts of the riser block kit. So, I had to get creative and fabricate the missing parts for this installation. After a bit of work, my saw's cutting capacity increased from 6" to 12", allowing me to resaw much larger boards than before.
