This OVERGROWN Yard Turned CATASTROPHIC — I HAD To Knock on the Door

Hey EVERYONE!!! Welcome back to this weeks free garden makeover! If you would like to support the channel, you can here (absolutely no pressure) https://gofund.me/e11518cbe https://buymeacoffee.com/thegardenrescue https://paypal.me/TheGardenRescue So this week on the way to dumpling king (i love dumplings), i drove past what at first just looked like a property with a slightly overgrown lawn but it was just enough to get me to slow down and even turn around to get a second look! After getting out the car and looking around the side of the house it was clear that this was a job for The Garden Rescue! So i pulled over, setup the microphone was made my way to the door! I was greeted by a man who i would later find out was named George and he was more than happy to have me at his place for the job! The first thing most cars would notice was the massively tall wild oats that are raging in South Australia at the moment! They were everywhere, especially over to the side of the house. Even running along the garden bed by the driveway! There was thistle, prickly lettuce and a new one I haven't yet encountered on the channel called dock, among the weeds on the property, most of which were all removed by hand! There was lots of hardscaping over the side of the house too which i did not expect as originally i thought it was all a lawn! It would have made for an amazing garden bed and has the potential to be one!! In the end I think i made a huge difference and i hope the tenant can now maintain it and maybe even plant something along the side of the house! Some sunflowers would be awesome there!
