Hi guys! So a little over a year ago, I uploaded a Bearded Dragon Care Guide, and I did not go into very much detail on feeding in that video. (I was also pregnant, probably irritable, and, when watching that video back, I probably just generally wasn't great to be around). Anyway, I get asked a lot about feeding bearded dragons, which is understandable, as a lot goes into it. I thought I'd sit down and make a very detailed video about all the things pertaining to feeding your dragon. Also, wow, can't believe I forgot this, if you're looking for the size bugs to feed your beardie (especially babies), you want to make sure the feeder is about the same size as the space between the dragons eyes. As this get older, though, this matters less. Adults can easily eat adult dubias and full grown horn worms, even though they're much bigger than that space. Another "edited to add": Make sure to check your beardies home for proper temperatures and proper UV lighting (linear bulb, correct size, not older than 6 months, etc) if your beardie isn't eating. Also, be sure you get feeders from a reputable seller (i.e. not things like fishing crickets) in order to minimize parasite risk. (Thank you so much to Cari Rea for pointing these things out).
