The first step is to put your dog into their harness or collar and leash. this just makes it so they cant try to run away, and when your dog is on a leash, he's more likely to stay still since they know they cant get away. then, straddle your dog like so while they're sitting -- this position lets you get the best angle to put the eye drops in easily and quickly. Once you're in position, hold the eye drops with your dominant hand and then hold your dog's eye open with your other hands thumb and then the rest of the fingers of your dominant hand like im doing here. then, aim the eye drops into the eye and squeeze until one or two droplets drop in, or more if your vets tells you they need more. usually 1 is enough because they blink right after to spread the liquid around the eye. be super careful not to touch the tip of the eyedropper to their eye because that area is really sensitive, just like humans. once you're done don't forget to treat your dog because they were very brave good boys or girls! if this video helps, don't forget to subscribe and check out our other videos.
