Kenzie's Korner: Car crashes

"It's unseemly to speak ill of the dead," says Jim Kenzie. But following a couple of high-profile car crashes, including one that killed actor Paul Walker, Jim felt compelled to bring it up. "How were they going so fast," Jim asks, "that when an experienced driver like (Roger) Rodas ... lost control he couldn't recover, and it smashed into a light pole and it blew up?" We'll probably never know. But as Jim says, speed was clearly a factor. And when a Toronto police officer was killed in a crash after being ejected from his car, Jim couldn't help but note he wasn't wearing a seat belt. So what's the point?
