It gives such a cinematic shooting experience that most people fall in love with instantly. I've shot with a few anamorphic lenses now on my Lumix S5 and S5ii, and there's a particular lens I'd definitely recommend as the best one to get started with if you're just getting into anamorphic. The world of anamorphic shooting gets very expensive very quickly, so it's great to see brands like Sirui really pushing for more affordable options in this space. Most people on YouTube have tried and raved about the Sirui 50mm T2.9 Full Frame anamorphic lens, and I absolutely love it as well, but I think this lens (the Sirui 35mm F1.8 S35) would be the one I'd personally opt for out of the two. There's still so many pluses to shooting S35 for anamorphic video, and those pro's definitely outweigh the cons for me.
