Trouble is mounting for Union Minister Ajay Mishra and his son Ashish Mishra in the Lakhimpur Kheri case. The court has accepted the S.I.T findings and said that charges under the arms act should be added in the charge sheet filed against Ashish and 12 others. This has led to a massive controversy with Opposition parties demanding the sacking of Ajay Mishra. The SIT which was composed by the Court using officials working outside Uttar Pradesh has concluded that the death of farmers was a murder and not an accident as previously alleged.
