I rode my 2024 Triumph Scrambler 400X up Engineer pass in Colorado at an elevation of 12,800 feet. The motorcycle did amazingly well offroad and tackled all the rocks, ruts, ledges and inclines I could throw at it. I gained a lot of skill as this was the most challenging terrain I have ridden it on. The bike was stable and had plenty of power to climb the steep inclines. I swapped out the OEM tires for offroad oriented tires, Metzler Karoo4s, which proved to be awesome on the trails. This was day 4 of 7 on an overland and motorcycle trip with friends traversing sections of the Continental Divide trail through parts of New Mexico and Colorado. We had scrambled up Stony Pass earlier in the day to 12,650 feet and that trail was littered with rocks. After we peaked Engineer Pass, we found a cool campsite by the river for the night as it was getting dark and cold.
