Here is a video of me playing three different styles on Round Peak classic "Sussana Gal." I've seen a lot of people have made kind of this video like showing multiple styles in a video (rock, jazz, blues, hard rock, and etc.) but I've never seen one in old-time, especially on back-up guitar. Anyway, I picked up my favorite guitar players. Verlen Clifton of the original Camp Creek Boys is known for his mandolin playing. But he is a master of guitar and banjo, too. I've only heard him playing guitar on his recordings. So details might be wrong. I tried my best to copy his signature run. Roy Russell was another from Camp Creek Boys. The run played here is the same that he recorded with his sister and father on Mountain Dulcimer album. They called it "Old Suzanna" and I included it in my dulcimer featuring album, too. https://oldtimerjp.bandcamp.com/album... The last musician I picked up is Chester McMillian. I have studied his styles at least for 4 years. He told me that I'm the first person who figured out how to play like him.
