Follow along while I head out on my first ever multi-day trail work party with the Orogenesis Collective (https://www.bikepackingroots.org/orog.... I volunteered to help with maintenance on a section of the Klickitat Sisters Trail, just south of Packwood, Washington, and north of the Dark Divide. This is a 2000 year old trail originally used by the Tribes of the Klickitat People to trade with those of the Cowlitz Valley, and is on traditional indigenous territory of the Cowlitz People. This is just a small section of what will one day be the completed Orogenesis mountain bike and bikepacking trail.
