My cousin’s family and I are both living in Japan. It’s been almost two years, yet we’ve met fewer than three times — and this was our third time seeing each other. We’re always busy. Even on weekends or public holidays, there always seems to be something going on. Or sometimes, after a long week of work, all we want is to stay home and rest. Even though we don’t live very far from each other, we rarely get the chance to meet up. And just like that, time quietly passes by. This time, Lunar New Year happened to fall on a holiday, and when my cousin said she had time to come over, I was genuinely so happy. We took the opportunity to thoroughly clean the apartment and even went to a big supermarket we don’t usually visit, buying lots of snacks (maybe a little too many, haha). I’m still not very confident with cooking dishes from home. If I don’t follow a recipe, I easily get flustered in the kitchen. But maybe this is a new beginning. I’ll keep practicing, hoping that one day I can recreate the flavors I remember. When my cousin and her husband arrived, they brought so many gifts. I truly didn’t expect them to prepare so much. Even now, thinking about it makes me emotional. Being cared for and thought of by family, especially in a place so far away from home, makes my heart feel incredibly soft and warm. I hope in the new year we’ll all continue to grow and live steady, peaceful lives —and that each day will be filled with happiness. （I couldn’t stop laughing at myself after I finished making the thumbnail, haha.I really tried my best — now I’m just not sure if YouTube viewers will like it.） 我们和姐姐都在日本生活，但是快两年了，见面还没到3次，这一次是第3次。 我们总是很忙，即使是周末或者祝日也总有这样那样的安排，或是工作了一周想要在家慢慢的度过周末，以至于明明距离并不算远却无法经常见面一起玩儿 这一次春节加上祝日，姐姐说有时间可以到家里来的时候真的超级开心！又趁机打扫了屋子，去平常不去的大超市买了好多零食哈哈哈。 我感觉自己做家乡菜的功夫还是不够，不照着食谱的话就很难做好，后面还是要多多练习呀…… 姐姐姐夫来的时候拿了好多好多礼物，我实在没想到她们会带这么多东西，现在想起来还是好感动，在离家这么遥远的地方能得到家人的关心和照顾真的感觉好温暖～ 祝我们新的一年都越来越好，安稳的生活，每天都开开心心 （这个封面做出来后自己看着笑了好久哈哈哈哈哈，努力了，不知道YouTube观众们喜不喜欢） #chinesenewyear #weekendvlog #2026 #cozyvlog
