Pork Spare Ribs with ‪@BarABBQ‬ rib glaze! Man, these ribs were super good! They were tender, juicy, and that rib glaze was damn good! I need to go to Montgomery, TX to check out what Cooper Abercrombie and Bar A BBQ are cooking! His videos on both YouTube and Instagram are awesome and all his food looks so good! I seasoned these with 16 mesh black pepper and coarse kosher salt. Then I cooked these on the ‪@TraegerGrills‬ at 250 for an hour and then 275 the rest of the way until tender. Then I wrapped it in foil with Bar A’s rib glaze and rested in a cooler with some towels for about an hour. I did something I never done before when cooking these ribs. I put the ribs on the top grate to get some more distance between the fire and the meat. I also placed the meat on the Traeger while it wasn't started yet. I did this because ‪@jirbybbq‬ said in one of his videos that he likes to do it on his offset because the meat will be hit with some more smoke. I figured maybe the same could happen with the Traeger, since my Traeger is producing the most smoke when it first starts up and slowly reaches the set temperature. I didn't notice that much of a difference between what I did and what I usually do of putting the meat on when the Traeger is already at temperature. Let me know your thoughts?
