If you face a black screen right after choosing the Batocera options in the Grub menu try the following : 1) Delete the Batocera core partition 2) Create the Batocera core partition and DON'T DO A QUICK FORMAT, to make sure no old data remains on the drive 3) Now copy back the Batocera core installation, that solved the problem for us Few hints, just in case : We only tried to remove the old boot files and replace them with a fresh install from batocera update site, didn't work, hence the partition deletion and the full format phase. We also resized the partition from 8 to 10G If your computer is dedicated to Batocera, you could get rid of grub2win and manage EFI boot simply from your computer setup (choose Batocera EFI file as the default) 🎮 Update 2022-03-04 🎮 You can access older images from https://mirrors.o2switch.fr/batocera/... Correction : Il n'est pas nécessaire d'avoir un processeur graphique Nvidia pour le Dual Boot, mais c'est mieux si on veut faire tourner les gros émulateurs (GameCube, PS2, Dreamcast) Correction 2 : Ce guide est fait sur un PC récent avec UEFI et tout le confort, je pense regarder pour faire une vidéo pour les vieux coucous. Correction 3 : On peut trouver l'image de Batocera en fichier compressé au lieu de l'image disque, ce qui permet d'éviter la phase Rufus en décompressant directement le zip dans la partition. Correction 4 : Il est possible de choisir le même disque physique pour l'installation de Batocera et la partition Data, voir le commentaire de Mago do hardware Correction 5 : La taille de partition de 3GB est trop juste et pose problème lors des updates, partez plutôt sur une partition de 7GB Correction 6 : Si vous avez un écran noir au boot de Batocera, c'est peut être qu'il ne trouve pas de partition ou il peut stocker les données (config + roms). Dans ce cas il faut vous assurer que vous au moins une partition disponible APRES la partition Batocera, utilisez le gestionnaire de disque windows pour ça (Merci à IncomingTruth) ----------------- This video is a tutorial showing the installation of Batocera with Dual Boot on a computer running Windows 10.
