Thank you for watching! 🥧 Details about recipes and items are listed here.🍀 When I wanted to pause or calm my mind, a restaurant would always come to mind. I first visited this place shortly after moving to Tokyo. Everything seemed magical, and I remember leaving the restaurant feeling warm and fuzzy inside. 🥰 However, since I don’t have a car, it’s a bit hard to get to. I kept telling myself, “I’ll stop by if I ever have a reason to be in the area,” but years passed without visiting. The other day, I found myself with some free time. Thinking, “I’d like to go somewhere,” that restaurant came to mind again. That’s when I realized: why wait for an excuse to visit? Why not make it my destination? So, I went ahead and made a lunch reservation. 🤭 I took a train, a bus, another train, and transferred to yet another bus… It felt like most of the day was spent traveling. But gazing out at the scenery from the train window, being moved by the quietly setting sun, and enjoying the warm conversations with the kind staff at the restaurant— all these simple moments were incredibly healing. Spending time at this long-unvisited place turned out to be a refreshing reset trip for my soul. 🥰 ▶ Index 00:00 Morning wake-up 02:11 Breakfast 06:45 Day trip to Chiba 07:37 Sakura-ya Dango Shop 09:18 Roku 6330 Restaurant 12:23 Inage no Hama Beach 13:50 Tsubakimori Komuna 16:55 Dinner 24:23 Another day 24:45 100-yen shop haul 26:17 Dinner ▶ Recipe Root Vegetable and Nameko Mushroom Soup Ingredients: Daikon radish, green onion, burdock root, carrot, fried tofu, nameko mushrooms, ginger (1 piece), 4 cups dashi stock, 80ml sake, 50ml mirin, 30ml soy sauce, 1 tsp salt Pumpkin Gnocchi Ingredients: 200g pumpkin purée, 70g bread flour ▶ Item Transparent bowls: Raffina Standable Bowl Silicone Lid 7-piece Set Detachable handle pots and pans: MODORI Day 1 Pink loungewear: Franc Franc Knitwear: UNIQLO Pants: &NOSTALGIA Coat: Mila Owen Loungewear: GU Day 2 Knitwear: green label relaxing Skirt: AG by aquagirl Loungewear: SHEIN ▶ Room Tour • ROOM TOUR | 1人暮らし歴10年以上の物が多い部屋をプチプラのア... While Tokyo is filled with glitz and glamour, my motto is to live at my own pace. The name “Nami no Kurashi” is a play on words, meaning both “ordinary life” and “Nami’s life.” I don’t have any special skills or talents, but I document my everyday, nothing-extraordinary life in this vlog. I hope you enjoy watching it at your own leisure. You can adjust the subtitles’ color and size to your liking.
