Rick Robol, another independent voter we talked to, said "Those of us who are voters and independents believe that we should vote for the best candidate rather than for a political party." Robol and a handful of other independent voters spent Tuesday morning protesting outside the Ohio Secretary of State's office. "There really are Americans who are independent of political parties who care about this country" Robol told us. On primary day, you can get a special independent ballot. But that only allows you to vote for issues, not candidates.
