2016, the release of romeo’s gin. A gin with a mission : to democratize urban art. Since then, we do more than sell cases and get our gin poured in the best bars. We bring art where you don’t expect it.We built Canada’s first urban art museum, romeo’s museum, inside a 24 floor-high staircase in the Mile-End district of Montreal. We also commissioned the largest mural in Canada, produced by Saskatoon native and Toronto-based artist birdO, on top of an outdoor parkade in Yorkville. Disruptiveness is on top of our brand values. We believe that audacious moves build a better future. Street food used to be hotdogs and pretzels. Now, it would not surprise us to hear a food truck’s been awarded a Michelin star. Street art used to be graffiti. Now, street artists are showcased in international museums. It’s with those inspirations in mind that we came up in 2018 with what would shock a category: an ultra premium ready-to-drink gin and tonic, in a 250mL can. The street version of a gin and tonic with depth and personality, using a premium gin as its main component. The freshly creative flavours of romeos gin : Cucumber, dill, lavender, lemon, almond and juniper, meet a house elderflower and mandarin tonic. Since then, we’ve maintained our innovative approach and launched 2 more cocktails, all in aluminum cans, each with its own unique personality. We partner with urban artists and put them at the forefront of our marketing strategies. Each offering takes root in gin classics or global trends, but we always bring romeo’s distinctive touch.
