As good as the original? That's some pretty big shoes to fill from this release, the Columbia 300 Messenger Pearl PowerCOR. The Messenger Titanium was one of the most popular balls of its time. It had a ton of hitting power at a mid-line ball price point, and that made it a go-to for so many bowlers in the late 1990's (not the mid 90's as I said in the video. My memory... she's not so good these days!). Columbia 300 has apparently figured out the best way to replicate the core from that ball, which can't be used today as the Titanium Ceramic nugget used in the original would not be legal today.
