We Visited Chichen Itza Alone in Mexico

While in Mexico, we had to go visit Chichén Itzá built by the Mayan people over 1,500 years ago and considered today one of the seven wonders of the world. Our day started in Tulum as we were stayed at the Bahian Principe Grand Coba all inclusive resort where we rented a vehicle to drive all the way from Tulum to Yucatan State of Mexico. Pro tip here, arrive as early as possible before all the tourist buses. The Mayan site was really incredible to explore from the Kukulcan Pyramid to the Temple of Warriors. This town is so picturesque with the San Servacio Church, main square, cute restaurants and everything else. Finally, we went to Parque Xkeken also in the State of Yucatan. This site allowed us to explore two different cenotes which was really fun and worth the stop. This was our first time inside a cenote and we highly recommend it.
