Liberec was once a thriving textile town during the nineteenth century. Now it serves as an important hub for a variety of outdoor sports. This video focuses on just that - the great outdoors, as well as villas left over from the age of the textile industry. In addition to these picturesque town houses, we will catch a glimpse of Liberec Town Hall; a copy of the very one in Vienna. We will also skirt past the oldest zoo in the country and enter the birth house of Ferdinand Porsche. Whilst reconnoitering inside, you will come across some exhibits and references to his life. Later in the video we will scale a 60 kilometre long ridge and upon its highest point view an iconic design hotel-cum-TV tower. We will also traipse through some popular hiking trails and catch some pretty vantage points of town below.
