Western Carolina Baseball gets a three-run home run from Aaron Attaway, but it was not enough to beat Elon for the second consecutive day. Elon beats Western 9-5. The Catamounts play the rubber match against Elon on Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm. Olympic Silver Medalist, Manteo Mitchell is training at Western Carolina this weekend. Mitchell was part of the 4X400 meter relay team that won a Silver Medal at the 2012 Games in London. He broke his leg during the Olympics, and he's now on the comeback trail as he prepares for the Spring and Summer seasons. The Upstate beats the Low Country 23-10 in the South Carolina College All-Star Bowl. The football game was played at North Greenville University. The U.S. National Soccer team beats Costa Rica 1-0 in a World Cup Qualifying Match played in Denver.
