Join me and my family on a trip inland to The Flower Farm for some creative inspiration and some beautiful colourful blooms to bring back to my art studio. I'm painting flowers of course! But whatever you paint, get out into your local area with your camera and inject some fresh energy and inspiration into your artwork. In preparation for a larger expressive oil painting, I explore these flowers in my sketchbooks using a variety of art materials. I use graphite pencil, coloured markers, coloured pencils and eventually gouache and oil pastel in a Mont Marte sketchbook.
