OUHK - Sustainability as a Business Strategy: Now and the Future

The Open University of Hong Kong recently held an International Conference on Ethics, Responsible Business & Sustainable Development. In the following seminar, Prof. Richard Welford, Chairman of CSR Asia, gives a talk on how and why sustainability is important for businesses. Businesses must concentrate on what they are really good at and make a contribution by developing a sustainability strategy. Prof. Welford gives examples of companies that follow a sustainable strategy and make a profit. He says that we must be committed to creating change for sustainable development, or there will be serious consequences.
