Whatever lies beyond clearly matters—but not yet. This place feels important, powerful, and very intentional in its refusal to let us pass. So we turn back and fully clear the remaining depths of Belurat, uncovering another Miquella Cross, more upgrade materials, and battling familiar enemies lurking in the castle’s deep well region. Belurat continues to feel like a place caught between sanctuary and stronghold—unfinished, occupied, and scarred. During our sweep, we’re invaded by Fire Knight Queelign, an aggressive and disciplined warrior who appears to be a sworn protector of someone extremely significant to the Shadowlands. Without spoiling anything: his loyalty is not random, and his presence here makes a lot of sense once you understand who truly commands the fire in this land. Outside at last, we finally notice our “dour little friend”—the Hornsent—who, it turns out, has apparently been standing near Freyja this entire time. No excuses. Just poor situational awareness. He offers perspective that reinforces how fractured and resentful the world beyond Belurat truly is. From there, we explore the Ellac Greatbridge, looting soldier camps and pushing further east before making our way toward Castle Ensis. The moment we arrive, the vibes are unmistakable: strong Caria Manor / Raya Lucaria energy, with magic-focused defenses and hostile intelligence behind every encounter. Things go smoothly… until we meet Moonrithyll. Fast. Punishing. Disrespectful. Almost certainly related to Moongrum, and every bit as eager to ruin our day. After repeated deaths, lost runes, and an increasing sense that dignity is slipping away, we do the sensible thing: we run. We make a desperate push for the next Site of Grace, survive by sheer luck, and end the episode there—vowing to return and reclaim what Moonrithyll stole from us. Honor. Runes. Self-respect. ------------------------------ 📌 Turns out the Shadowlands love doing this thing where they show you something important and then say “not yet.” Between missing the Hornsent entirely, getting invaded by a very angry Fire Knight, and being absolutely disrespected by Moonrithyll, this episode was a lesson in humility. Castle Ensis has strong magic-academy energy… and I am clearly not welcome. We will be back. Moonrithyll will answer for this. https://www.x.com/@DocFyre https://www/instagram.com/DocFyre https://www.facbook.com/DocFyre https://www.tiktok.com/DocFyre If you’re enjoying the journey, don’t forget to like and Subscribe for more content.
