Hidden Turkey 🇹🇷

I went with absolutely no fixed destination or plan other than to see the side of Turkey that you’ll never find with Tui, Thomson or an organised tour. I wanted to see the weaving villages that are hidden in the Aydin Dağları mountains and I wasn’t let down. We’ve seen so much and more. We’ve captured through our lens so much more. When I worked with ‘Authentic Adventures’ I learned the trick of being able to invite yourself into a total strangers’s home every time by speaking English, smiling and a few had gestures…. then perfected the art of BS running my own tours with Photographic Journeys. The locals and homes, houses and workshops we’ve discovered this trip has been spectacular. The sheer size of Turkey is just awesome. We’ve only covered what we could. Here’s a few rare moments and glimpses of the journey. (hopefully FB won’t rip the soundtrack out -thanks Michael Conn and some calls to prayer I recorded)
