SGM shall not be liable for any loss or damage howsoever incurred or suffered by the use of the contents of this video. 《法华经》譬喻 (一) : 三车火宅 有一位长者，拥有很多财产与小孩。有一天，他的房子突然发生火灾。年幼的孩子们还玩得忘形，完全没有察觉危险，也不害怕。连父亲叫孩子们尽快离开，也没有人理会。 于是长者以赠送孩子们“羊车”、“鹿车”、“牛车”来诱导他们。结果孩子们一听到，高兴地争先跑出火宅。 其后长者送给孩子们的比约定的更为豪华、拥有宝石的“大白牛车”，孩子们皆大欢喜。 从这个譬喻中我们可以学习到，长者是指佛，孩子们是一切众生，而火宅是指被烦恼所包围的现实世界。在火宅里玩耍的孩子们，就是活在苦恼的世界里，却不自觉自己在不久之后将被苦恼之火所焚身的众生。 The Seven Parables of the Lotus Sutra 1 : Three Carts and the Burning House There was an elderly man with considerable wealth and children. One day, his house was suddenly on fire. The young children were so engrossed in their games that they didn’t notice their predicament nor feel afraid. Even when their father asked them to leave the house, no one paid attention to him The elderly man lured them out by saying he would give them “a goat cart, a deer cart and an ox carts.” Hearing this, the children gleefully rushed out of the conflagration. In the end, the elderly man gave the children something far more luxurious than he had originally promised: a magnificent jewelled carriage drawn by a white ox. All the children were delighted. From this parable, we learn that the elderly man is the Buddha, and the children represent all living beings. The burning house is a metaphor for this world of ours which is enveloped inwith sufferings.
