This video is a ring attack which shows how to get the maximum possible ring amount on Lava Reef act 2 with Knuckles. To do this, 4 tricks must be done correctly. The Eggman monitor jump (0:50) You need to jump from the right side and glide just before hitting the box. If it is done at the right time, you should gain enough height to enter in Sonic's area. The ring dodge (0:58) You need to land on the very edge of the platform, so that you dodge the ring and save it for later. 2 Spindashes through the doors (3:48 and 4:34) This trick is really hard to achieve. You must place yourself to the right distance of the door, which must be offscreen. Then you do a supercharged Spindash towards the door. As soon as you stop against the door, you must quickly (Really very quickly) do 2 Spindahes to pass through the door. (The first messes up the camera, the 2nd give you just enough speed to skip the door while it is offscreen) The platform jump (6:38) Knuckles can't jump high enough to reach this platform. Since there's nothing to bounce on, you must grab a shield form the other path and hit the spike ball. This will give you enough height to land on the platform. No cheats and no debug were used in this video. I didn't used the features exclusives to the emulator to help me. This record have been done legitimately on an unmodified game.
