Enjoy this video comparing the stock exhaust with the BMW Performance exhaust. The stock exhaust needed to be cut off after the cats in order to clamp this one on. To make the comparison accurate, I used the same equipment spaced the same distance from the car. In the first revving shots, the mic is positioned 5 feet back from the exhaust. The PE is definitely louder than the stock exhaust. It really makes the car sound how it should have from the factory IMO. It sounds just like a 135 or 335 now, maybe a bit more aggressive. The exhaust sound in the cabin is more noticeable, but not annoying. You can hear it at highway speeds, but it is not droning. You can drive the car around without the noise being intrusive. I highly recommend this exhaust! The car is a 2011 BMW 328i E90, 3.0 inline 6, 6 speed manual, M Sport package Equipment used was a Canon 7D with a Rode video mic.
