Add the sliced apple and orange to a pot. 2. Sprinkle in 1-2 teaspoons of cinnamon powder. Stir gently to mix. 3. Add the cloves, rosemary, and vanilla extract (if using). 4. Pour in 3-4 cups of water, enough to cover the ingredients. 5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. 6. Stir occasionally, and top up the water as needed.
