Here's a soundboard recording of a brilliant Allan Holdsworth Trio concert that I recently received in a trade. For those unfamiliar with guitar/composer master Holdsworth he was a notorious perfectionist who was seldom satisfied with his own playing despite consistently pulling off mindblowing stuff on his instrument that in my opinion no guitarist has come close to replicating before or since his untimely passing in 2017 which left a huge void in the music world. He was very harsh on himself but on the other hand he was known for his kindness towards others( including fans) and he was also frequently quoted bestowing praise on other musicians he admired. On this occasion he was joined by drummer Chad Wackerman and bassist Ernest Tibbs, world class musicians in their own right. The concert took place at Proctors Theatre in Schenectady New York, on May the 5th in 2009.
