A full fight recording of me beating Sam with ONLY the wooden sword on highest difficulty. Because the wooden sword can't break objects, I switch to a real weapon to get healing items, but I do not attack, block, or parry at any time with that. This is actually the second time I've beating this boss in this manner! The first time took me about a week and I only had Shadowplay Replay going, which I have set to delete footage after 2.5 minutes. This time, I started a manual recording and kept going until I won, which took me an hour and a half. The biggest difference between these 2 victories is finding out that running while slashing massively cuts down how bad Phase 2 is. In my first attempt, I kept slide tackling, which he counters, and only got a couple hits in per rush attack, extending that phase by several minutes.
