Frito Pie & Must Make Lemon Lime Ice Box Cake | Southern Family Cooking Lemon Lime Ice Box Cake Ingredients: 1/2 cup fresh juice from limes & lemons (I used 4.5 limes and 1 lemon) 1 1/2 packs Galletas Marias (Mexican Cookies) 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 can evaporated milk 1 can sweetened condensed milk 7oz media crema (table cream) 8 oz cream cheese, softened Directions: Mix cream cheese, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, table cream, and vanilla in a blender until smooth. Pour a thin layer of the cream mixture in a 9X9 casserole dish. Top with cookies. Pour half of remaining cream mixture on top. Repeat with another layer of cookies and the rest of the cream mixture. Top with crumbled cookies and lime zest. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Frito Pie (The Titus Version😄) Ingredients: 1 bag Chili Cheese Fritos 1 can enchilada sauce 2-3 pounds ground chuck 1 red onion 31oz can refried beans 1 1/2 cans (10.5oz) nacho cheese sauce 7oz can green Chile peppers 1 8oz bag three cheese Mexican blend shredded cheese 1 8oz bag sharp cheddar cheese, shredded We added a few chipotle peppers, totally optional Directions: Cook ground beef with onion until beef is cooked through. Spray a 9X13 casserole pan with cooking spray, then layer Fritos, enchilada sauce, meat and onion, refried beans, nacho cheese, Chile peppers, and shredded cheese. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. Serve with sour cream and green onions! Or any other taco or nacho toppings you like!
