Those that survived the Great War inside the underground shelter known as Vault 11, had escaped nuclear Armageddon, only to be presented with another threat. Now that everyone was securely locked inside, the Overseer stepped forward and announced that each year, one of them would had to be sacrificed to satisfy the vaults mainframe, and if they didn’t then the entire vault would be destroyed. Hearing this confession enraged the survivors, their new home that had just saved them from sudden death was now, for some unknown reason, wanting one of them each year to take their own life.
