The Future Generation Art Prize@Venice 2013

The Victor Pinchuk Foundation and PinchukArtCentre are proud to present The Future Generation Art Prize@Venice 2013. The exhibition includes the 21 artists, from 16 different countries, who were shortlisted in the second edition of the first global art prize for artists up to 35. The exhibition is an official Collateral Event of the 55th International Art Exhibition - la Biennale di Venezia. It will be on view at the Palazzo Contarini Polignac (Venice, Italy) from June 1 till September 1, 2013. Opening hours: 10:00 -- 18:00 daily (Mondays off). The 21 independent artists' statements include among others the Winner of the Main Prize, British artist Lynette Yiadom-Boakye and the 5 winners of the Special Prize: Jonathas de Andrade (Brazil), Micol Assael (Italy), Ahmet Ögüt (Turkey), Rayyane Tabet (Lebanon), and Marwa Arsanios (Lebanon). The other artists are Meris Angioletti (Italy), Abigail DeVille (United States), Aurelien Froment (France), Mykyta Kadan (Ukraine), Meiro Koizumi (Japan), Andre Komatsu (Brazil), Eva Kotatkova (Czech Republic), Tala Madani (Iran), Basim Magdy (Egypt), Amalia Pica (Argentina), Agnieszka Polska (Poland), Emily Roysdon (United States), Yan Xing (China) and two groups: Joao Maria Gusmao + Pedro Paiva (Portugal) and R.E.P. (Ukraine).
