How to make Kerala-Style Beef Perattu | Spicy Semi-Dry Beef Roast Recipe | Easy Beef Perattu at Home Kerala-Style Beef Perattu is a semi-dry beef roast, packed with bold flavors from black pepper, Kashmiri chili, and aromatic spices. The beef is first pressure-cooked with masalas, ensuring it turns tender and absorbs all the rich flavors. It is then slow-roasted in coconut oil with onions (traditionally, shallots are used), tomatoes (though not traditionally used, I have added them for tanginess and moisture), green chilies, and fragrant curry leaves, creating a thick, flavorful coating that clings to the beef. This dish has a deep, roasted aroma with a slightly moist masala, making it perfect to enjoy with Kerala parotta, rice, or tapioca (kappa). The touch of coconut oil and the blend of spices give it an authentic Kerala-style taste!
