Truth be told, this is kind of my first real combat encounter. I just kind of avoided most other enemies. It’s super difficult to maneuver around in this small area, but I do manage to kill all them ants and flip them switches. I also grab Thump Thump while I’m here. I don't think I ever used it. Next up on the list was to fix the solar panels. It’s not an official rule of the run, but I wanted to avoid fast traveling as much as possible. As such, I held down my space bar for a good minute or so and launched myself toward Helios One at the speed of sound. Lemme tell ya, the game really doesn’t like it when you do this. But it held itself together with spit and duct tape, so I grabbed the parts and marked myself as Return to Sender. Still, these two things only got me to Liked, which is not exactly where I need to be. My medicine skill is a little bit lacking this time of day, so I can’t heal the patients. I also don’t want to talk to Pete, because I value my time. Sorta. I instead turn in a few bits of stolen metal to Jack, but this sadly isn’t enough to push me to Idolized. Well, desperate times call for desperate measures. By that, I mean I talk to Pete about the Boomers’ history. While he talks, I get up and walk away from my computer to go do important girlbusiness - that’s one word, no space. Tragically, even this isn’t enough to get me Idolized. Healing a single patient - the only one I have the skills to do so - is enough, though, so I go talk to Pearl then Loyal about the bomber."
